Tyler Shewbert’s Bartending: New Yorker

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz rye or bourbon
  • 0.75 oz fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
  • splash of grenadine

Preparation:

  • Stir all ingredients for at least thirty second in ice. Strain into chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist.

Careful with the grenadine!
